Yes, Ski & Bow Rack is an authorized Orvis dealer. We carry a wide selection of Orvis fly fishing gear including rods, reels, waders, clothing, and accessories. We also carry gear from top brands including Simms, Winston, Echo, Lamson, Ross, Fishpond, Costa, and more.

Do you offer fly casting lessons in Pagosa Springs?

Yes! We offer free fly casting lessons every Saturday at 10am from Memorial Day through Labor Day. These hour-long lessons are open to all skill levels and are a great introduction to fly fishing before booking a guided trip. Call (970) 264-2370 or stop by to reserve your spot, classes are limited to 12 participants.

What flies work best on the San Juan River and local waters near Pagosa Springs?

Our staff are active anglers on local waters and always have up-to-date knowledge of what's working. Come in and ask us about current hatches, conditions, and which patterns are producing. We stock an extensive selection of dry flies, nymphs, streamers, and Euro patterns covering everything from tiny midges to large stoneflies.

Do you sell fly tying supplies?

Yes, we carry a selection of fly tying materials and supplies. Ask a staff member for current inventory. We also stock a wide range of production flies from top tyers and brands like Fulling Mill and MFC.
